January can sometimes be a bit of a drag, I know. We’ve just had ‘Blue Monday’ which is apparently the most depressing day of the year.

Anyway, I’m reminding myself of the positive things in life; the things that make me tick and keep me going…

It’s important for me right now because I’m deep in album launch preparation mode. My life has been taken over my spreadsheets, google doc files and an ever growing to-do list.

I’m so excited about the launch but in many ways I’m reminded of the importance of the everyday things that make me happy in my music:

- Songwriting every day

- My twice-weekly livestreams

- The interaction and support from you and others in the community.

They are the things in music that make me truly happy and I won’t be changing any of those.
