Live from the Living Room EP59: Want to Know How I’ve Reworked This Song for Live Concerts?

I’m going to stick my neck on the line here and say that an amazing live show is not about great songs, but about great ‘moments’. I’m constantly thinking about ways I can develop my own songs to work better for the live format. It’s kind of like a parallel existence for each song alongside with the way it was originally written and recorded.

I stripped my song ‘Nowhere Heart’ right back and performed it acapella at a recent show. I honestly didn’t know how it would work with people in the room but it seemed to go down well and it felt great for me to play.
